PeoplesHub is hiring for a new Communications Director! Our previous director did tremendous work to develop our communications strategy and visual identity and we’re looking for someone who can lead us into our next chapter of growth.
We are asking close friends and partner organizations if they could please help us spread the word! We are a care-centered and collaborative team, made up of creatives, mostly queer and BIPOC-led.
PeoplesHub, a popular education online movement school, is seeking a Communications Director.
This position is ideal for a creative leader who inspires collaboration and thinks about communications like an organizer. The ideal candidate does not necessarily have to have held a director position in the past but does have experience managing communications, social media and narrative strategy for grassroots organizing, fundraising, and/or public programming.
This is a remote/work-from-home position involving frequent meetings online with the team and possible travel for in-person gatherings during the year. (Please note that we do not expect people to travel unsafely during the covid pandemic).
