OnlyOffice default fonts & header styles?

Are we allowed to request new fonts to be installed on the nextcloud server for use within onlyoffice? The current selection is quite limited, and I’d be happy to provide some freely licensed font files if so. Dev docs here.

Separate but related, my understanding is that there is a default “template” document that new blank .docx files inherit from that has all the styles defined (like Normal, Heading 1, List Paragraph). I would like to be able to customize this template document at my company so we can have consistent styles. Do we have access to this template file somehow, or can I provide a .docx to an admin who can upload it for us (without breaking everyone else’s default styles)?

Hi Kev - Thanks for checking in. Honestly, I don’t think we can commit to adding custom fonts and templates - at least not at this time. You may have noticed that our version of onlyoffice is pretty old - that’s because we’re still working out the kinks to properly keep the default install properly updated, so adding customizations would be yet another layer on top of that. Please feel free to ping us again in 6 months or a year - this is not a closed issue.
